We do not have our own car park here at The Rex. We would recommend you leave plenty of time to find a space on the surrounding streets or use the two pay and display car parks in the town centre.
You will be given a transaction number at the time of booking. Please bring this with you to retrieve your tickets or simply use your e-ticket at the door.
In order to avoid any steps you would need to book seats at the downstairs tables. You can access this area through a white gate on the high street, just before The Gatsby restaurant.
Yes. For matinees we show trailers and adverts before the advertised start time, so the film will start promptly at the time on your tickets. In the evening we show them at the start time on your tickets, so the film will start 25 minutes after the advertised time.
We have an Advanced Booking List membership here at The Rex. This opens up once a year in November and it costs £150.00. Members are entitled to one weeks advanced booking ahead of general release and a concession ticket.
Gift Vouchers can be used as payment for cinema tickets online, in person and over the phone and refreshments sold in The Rex Cinema.
You can purchase Gift Vouchers over the phone, in person or online.
Online vouchers are sold as fixed amounts. If you would like to purchase a variable amount gift voucher, you can do this over the telephone or in person.
The listings for the following month will go on sale on the first Saturday after the 20th of the month. We will always advertise the date on the website at least two weeks in advance.
We will never pass on your details to a third party, however we may use them should we need to contact you in the case of a cancellation made by The Rex.
If you arrive to The Rex once the film has started, we will allow you to enter the auditorium, however we will not necessarily be able to seat you in your allocated seat. We will try to find the least disruptive area to take you in.
