Heritage. How sad to see the ironic demise of ‘Heritage’ with its maze of rooms and scruffy jumbles of treasures and junk in the yards and sheds. It’s been here since anyone can remember. It was fabulous, homely, unprentious, unintimidating and not posh. You find a gem there for shillings, and all the sales were still being handwritten in an exercise book. And they were nice to you, not gushing or salesy, just easy. Hope you’re all okay.
